Our Impact
63% of residents have only a 9th-grade education or less, and 43% live in moderate or extreme poverty — inequality runs deep.
At Centro Infantil de los Ángeles, every achievement is the result of a united community — our children, educators, staff, and volunteers working together to create opportunities — proof that dedication, love, and opportunity can transform lives.
- Over 70% of our students scored “above average” or “outstanding” on standardized tests administered by the Secretary of Education.
- No student scored below average, despite coming from some of the most economically disadvantaged homes in San Miguel.
- Our teachers achieved an impressive 93 out of 100 in their professional evaluations.
- Centro Infantil de los Ángeles was recognized as one of only three schools in San Miguel de Allende for special academic achievement by the Secretary of Education. One of our graduates, now in second grade, earned the top score among all primary school students in San Miguel during the same round of testing.
These results demonstrate that with care, quality education, and community support, every child can reach their full potential — regardless of their background.
